Contact UsTo the south of South Bethany is the Fenwick Island State Park, a popular residential-free beach attraction. It separates South Bethany from the “blink or you will miss it” town of Fenwick Island. Though not actually an island, this narrow beach town is located on a peninsula flanked on two sides by the Atlantic Ocean on the east and the Assawoman Bay on the west. Located along Coastal Highway, you’ll find plenty of shops and restaurants that have been favorites for years such as Fenwick Crabhouse, Warren’s Station, Ropewalk, Nantuckets and Fisher’s Popcorn.
Housing options are limited along the coast near Fenwick Island but housing has expanded westward over the years as communities have popped up with bay-front properties abutting the Assawoman Bay. Head west on Rt. 54 and you’ll find the famous and popular dining spots of Harpoon Hanna’s and Catch 54, both of which offer fantastic water views. From there housing options become more plentiful as you’ll find Keenwick Sound before arriving into Selbyville and the super popular Jack Nicklaus designed golf course community of Bayside Resort.
